Transcript of Koll Simonds in the above video: Koll: "Hi, my name is Koll Simonds and I live in West Seattle." Q: And why did you decide to come back to Best Mortgage? Koll: "Well I had two previous mortgages processed or originated at Best Mortgage and it worked so well that I would have been foolish to try any other place. I had actually called a couple places to keep them honest and to run the numbers and see how they worked through their end of the initiation of the loan process, and I wasn't too terribly impressed. I tried one of the companies that I constantly hear on the radio with their cute little jingle, but their ability to contact me back in any kind of timely manner with appropriate information didn't work out. So it was a question of competence that they've (Best Mortgage) proven twice before, this would have been my third loan through Best Mortgage and it worked out like clockwork. It worked very well, very smooth. As with any loan process, you're going to find items that are unusual, or things that will need attention from someone who's been there before. And although I've done two others, it's always nice to know that there's someone there who has seen all these problems and knows the steps to take and doesn't have to go consult with someone back East or on the phone. They, here, know the procedures and know the ways to move loans to closing real quickly. And that was one of the big reasons that I came back, is because I wanted the loan closed -- strangely enough it's just one of those things I wanted to do -- and it was done in short order, professionally and, I think, ahead of estimates. I think my loan, from the time I called to the time it closed was, I think, 3 weeks -- and that included an inspection. So it was very quick and very professional." Q: So you would refer friends and family to Best Mortgage? Koll: "Oh, certainly! I would refer anybody that I cared about that needed to get a loan closed properly and have the right loan for them. I'm hearing half a dozen to a dozen mortgage pitches a day on radio or television, and I thought, we'll we've gotta just see what's going on there. And then I called. Then I called Best Mortgage and they had extremely competitive products that were -- the 'big pitches' that you hear on the radio were seriously no better than the standard items that are available at Best Mortgage. The information that I received was the best. If I had any questions afterwards, I just got on the phone and if I needed to switch or, switch to a different type of product, that information was available to me. There was no pressure to go with a specific loan or a specific product. They're most interested in taking care of what you need for your loan situation, and that's what impressed me the most. Best Mortgage has proven themselves to me 3 times, and I wouldn't go with anybody else. There would not be -- and I have tried the biggest names, the most well branded names, the names you hear every day -- and in the end, the question of getting a loan at a really competitive rate that's executed flawlessly is something that I know can be done any time at Best Mortgage. And I would recommend anybody go there."

Transcript of Eric & Billie in the above video: Eric: Hi I'm Eric ________ and this is my wife, Billie and we just got our mortgage done with Best Mortgage, been too weeks now, right? Two weeks ago. We first found out about Best Mortgage, actually it was just total luck, it was a search on Google, we had been looking for a bunch of different mortgage companies and wanted to find sort of a local broker that hadn't been somebody that was recommended by my realtor or anybody else, it was just totally outside of everything and Best Mortgage came up on Google and that's what made me give Nancy a call for the first time. Why did we choose Best Mortgage? Billie: We ended up going with Best Mortgage because we're poor, they gave us the best interest rate…also Nancy was very personable, she was very easy to work with, she was very willing to answer questions, and to help out with any concerns that we had, or any problems along the process, even in the pre-qualification process she was extremely informative, and so we decided to go with them. Eric: Sweet. Like I was saying, we did look at several other mortgage companies, we looked at three very seriously, we got pre-qualified with all three of those, Best Mortgage was actually the last one that we found, we'd already had our offer, had already been accepted, we had another company that we thought we were completely going to be going with, but just to make sure we covered all our bases we did a Google search and found Best Mortgage. And the first time I talked to Nancy on the phone, she said that she was able to get me an interest rate that was,what was it? It was 3/8ths of a point lower than the best offer I had already received over the phone. And that was, that was an easy, that made the decision easy, but in addition to that, Nancy took a lot more time than any other company out there to explain the mortgage process to us. We're first time home buyers, we were really scared going into this, and she really did, um, she made everything really clear, and she always explained what she was doing, why she was doing it, how it worked. What was our experience like working with Best Mortgage? Billie: I thought it was wonderful. Like Eric said, we were first time home buyers, this was our first experience buying a home. We were terrified. We were a little nervous with the other people that were working on our deal and Nancy just totally coaxed us and helped us throughout the whole process, she was very willing to answer any questions and always willing to help out, she answered phone calls, she was always there, she kept us up to date on the entire process throughout the entire deal, which was incredibly helpful and comforting as things, as this whole process goes through I'm sure that there are kinks in everything she was extremely extremely wonderful with helping us through that and kind of calming us down through the whole thing. Eric: Well, and like Billie was saying, we didn't really trust everybody, it got to the point where, we're paranoid, we were just paranoid in general just because this was, this was a big deal for us and we were really worried that it was gonna go right. It got to the point where, our realtor always didn't give us the straight answers we wanted, the escrow company didn't always give us the straight answers we wanted, the other seller we weren't always sure what he was doing and, so eventually we just called Nancy for all of our questions. It was, I felt bad taking up so much of her time because I called her with real estate questions, I called her with loan questions, I called her with escrow questions, just because she was always the one that gave me the straight, no-sense, here's the answer and she was always right. She ... Billie: ... was very honest ... Eric: ... and she was always completely honest and that was another thing that I was, I was scared, looking at real estate companies because I have heard these stories about, ya know, the bait and switch, they'll give you this great rate over the phone and then they look at your credit and then they can't get you that great deal but here's the other deal, and I even told Nancy that I was worried about that at the beginning because the rate she gave me over the phone was so much lower than everybody else that from the get-go I was worried that, well, maybe this was one of those, but, nah, it was absolutely everything that she said it would be, in fact it turned out to be so much better because she was so helpful and the, rate was just what she said over the phone…she worked extra hard to make sure that everything always stayed that way and since we were first time home buyers she had to work even extra harder because we didn't have the whole big long established credit that we probably should have had to go into this because we're just fresh out of school, but she did everything that I could have ever asked for in a mortgage broker. Billie: Yeah, Best Mortgage really helped out with answering questions… Eric: ... she's so good ... Billie: ... she was on the phone, I spent an hour on the phone talking with Nancy about the whole loan-buying process, she was extremely informative, very basic in terms. Eric: ... kept it simple for us ... Billie: ... but very confident in my ability to know what I was getting into and it was, it was a very enjoyable experience. Eric: She did do a good job of "dumbing it down" to the non-real estate folks, and as far as would we use Best Mortgage again? I can't imagine ever going to a different mortgage company. I mean, will I use the same realtor? Eh, probably not. Use the same escrow company? Probably not. All those people didn't stand out. But I would never ever want to go into the home buying process again without using Best Mortgage because I know that she'll give me, I know that Nancy will give me the lowest rate, and I know that if there is a problem, it's probably going to be Nancy that fixed it because all the problems that we ran into, it was never anyone else that found out about the problem or fixed it, it was always Nancy. Billie: And in addition to that, other people working with Nancy were very confident as well ... Eric: ... true ... Billie: ... always answered back questions, always relayed messages ... Eric: ... yeah, it was ... Billie: ... quickly, and it, yeah, it was great. Eric: Nancy was the one person that we never really had a hard time getting ahold of. I mean, if she was on the phone, one of her staff members would always pick up, and within a few minutes she was always calling us back. She always followed up on her phone calls, and that was really appreciated, it seems like a small thing but ... Billie: ... and throughout the process, we were always informed back when things were going OK, when funds were at the escrow company, when there are problems that needed to be worked out, she was always on top of it, always calling us back and letting us know the up to date ... Eric: ... that's right ... Billie: ... the situation that we were in… Eric: She did not procrastinate a single thing. All of her stuff was done. The last thing she got done was done a week before closing was supposed to be done and that was partially our fault that it took so long just because we didn't have all the information that she needed as quick as she needed it. I mean I think if we had given her everything up front, she would have had the funds ready to go a month before closing. She was phenomenal about staying on top of the timeline. Billie: Yeah, that was one thing we were concerned about as most people say that in the first time home buying process, that funds or loans, that's usually one of the bigger things that kind of slow the process, and our paperwork was in a week and a half before closing, and it was absolutely excellent to know that we'd done our part and everything was ready to go and everything that we had done, we just had to sign papers, and that's all we had left to do. It was, it was absolutely wonderful. Eric: It was, it was pretty funny that the least of our worries at the end was our funding. We knew a long time ahead of time that everything was taken care of, and after calling Nancy, it seemed like we called her everyday for the month that we were trying to close, after working with her so much, I completely knew and trusted that she would get everything done, and I didn't even have to worry about it, but it was nice that even on top of that it was all in so early. Billie: And would we recommend that friends and family use Best Mortgage? Certainly! Eric: Already have! Billie: And I would guarantee this, Nancy would work just as hard for any other couple just like us. I think that she really cares about her work, and I think that Best Mortgage really cares about getting people the loans that they need and to help fit their criteria and their situation and I have full confidence ... Eric: ... yeah ... Billie: ... that they'd be able to do whatever and help with any problems and the loan application process. Eric: Really, my only regret, is that Best Mortgage is only for Washington loans, and some of my family lives in Oregon and other states, and I so wish that there was a company like Best Mortgage that they could use. Transcript of Erika & Andrew Busz in the above video: Erika: "We applied online through one of the corporations, for one of the many offers for a mortgage, and came back with one with E-Trade and thought that it would be a good experience, and it started out OK and it turned out to be a complete disaster. Originally, we were very happy with the first person we dealt with, but after that it all fell apart and turned into a disaster where we ended up losing $600 just completely out of pocket!" Andrew: "The offer turned out to be very much different from what was originally proposed to us and was on the original Good Faith Estimate. And the other company was not really interested in working towards the type of loan that we needed. And so we had to actually back out of that deal and lose some money in the process. But then we were able to work -- on the recommendation of a friend -- with Nancy, who worked very hard to get us the type of loan that we really needed, at the best rates available, and we're very pleased with the outcome."
